Mission Statement
The Colorado Athletic Trainers' Association, Elections Committee, is dedicated to advancing the profession of athletic training by allowing for a fair and impartial process for identifying and electing AT candidates to the CATA's Board of Directors.
Conduct elections of officers in accordance with the By-Laws, policies and procedures of the Association.
Conduct all mail or electronic votes in accordance with the By-Laws, policies and procedures of the Association.
Tabulate results of all written ballot votes at meetings of the membership
Tabulate results of all electronic votes according to electronic voting process.
Advise the President and Board on matters concerning elections.

2026 Election Information
The 2026 nomination period will open from January 1 to February 28. The CATA Elections Committee will be accepting nominations for the Board of Director positions:
President
Member at Large (2)
These positions serve a term of 2 years, beginning June 1, 2026 and ending or eligible for reelection on May 31, 2028.
Nominations may be submitted by any voting member of CATA and be accompanied by a second nomination of another voting member of CATA.
